VISTAMAR MARINA

A radical transformation was achieved by repurposing the central indoor garden into a stately formal living room, dramatically shifting the residence’s layout. The revised design preserves the perimeter location of the bedrooms, ensuring a perfect retreat for private areas while optimizing the central space for communal living. This design decision establishes a fluid visual axis between the main areas, including the foyer, formal living room, dining room, and family room. Towering cathedral ceilings with integrated clerestories flood the space with natural light, warmth and radiance. Architectural hardwood millwork creates a focal point, drawing the eye upward and adding a sense of grandeur to the room. The polished marble flooring lends an air of sophistication, its luminous sheen subtly interacting with light and shadow to add depth and nuance to the interiors. Transitional style furniture, tailored to the owner’s preferred aesthetic, infuses the space with elegance and finesse. A predominantly neutral color scheme provides a serene backdrop, while strategic bursts of color and patterns are introduced through commissioned paintings, upholstery, and window treatment fabrics, adding depth and vitality to the space. A curated selection of artwork, featuring pieces commissioned by local artists, including paintings, sculptures, and ceramics, adds a touch of sophistication and cultural nuance, creating a rich visual narrative that invites exploration.
